This piece was written in June 2017. Not sure what was my mood here but it’s a fun read.
When I get home
I would like to lie at the feet of my father
Draw and color birds and trees.
I would like to meet Adam, my greatest grandfather.
I would love to talk to Methuselah and ask how it feels to live longest
I would love to ask Enoch about his ride of the chariot of fire
I would love to see the guards that were at the tomb on the day of my brother’s resurrection
I would love to see the boy who gave Jesus the 5 breads and fish.
I would love to see the children that my brother carried
I would love to see Mikael, David’s first wife
I would love to meet Jonathan; for the favor he granted David astonishes me.
I would love to meet Bezalel because his hands were blessed to create.
I would love to see the bird that brought back a leaf to Noah.
And I would also love to see the crow that took food to Elijah.
I would love to see the Fig tree that Jesus cursed.
I would love to meet Hezekiah, the man who changed his length of days
I would love to see the baby donkey that Jesus drove on when He entered Jerusalem
When I’m done with history and historical sites
I will start my personal adventures
I will travel the universe and have tours across the galaxies
I will have a trip to the foundation of the earth
I will go search for the storehouse of snow and build a snowcrown fit for a princess
When all this is over
I’ll sit by the River Euprates and gaze upon the stars
I’ll eat my breakfast at the top of the mountains
I’ll ask an angel to walk me around Eden
And then tell him to teach me how to sing
And play an acoustic guitar
When all this is over,
I’ll dance under the moon, and celebrate each dawn.
I’ll lie in mud on a rainy day and there after jump into a paddle of water.
Don’t worry, I think I’ll fit in it.
I’ll sing out my Father’s name every morning and evening
