A season for a period of time,

A season, an era,

An era to pass by.

 

I was your season,

A season to love you,

A season to make you smile,

A season to create memories.

 

I was your season,

A season for you to learn,

A season for you to try,

A season for you to lean on.

 

I was your season,

A season to test you,

A season to help you grow,

A season to help you open your eyes and see.

 

I was a season,

And like every other season,

It has a beginning and an end,

And now,

I’m the end and you are the beginning.

 

The Bible says

To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven

And like a seed I came, I grew, I lived, I died.

And now you are your season.
