Would it be right to say to my Lord: ‘Give me what you know my heart and spirit want and would cherish’?”
For I am a futile being, with limited vision, knowledge, and understanding alike. I am incomparable to you: an omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent God.
Though I may know what I need, I may not know the measure of it I require. I may know who you are but fail to comprehend the fullness of your power.
So, in my futility, help me answer what you ask of me, lest I miss out on Your eternal greatness by pursuing my own fleeting desires and perishing greatness.
