You tuned the music, I danced, wore myself out and left the floor to you.
I sat quietly on the sidelines so that you get to face the music you tuned for me on the dance floor.
I knew you won’t be able to take the truth, and certain that it won’t be detrimental for you I kept it to myself.
I forgot my heart and how that choice was detrimental to it. I buried myself while breathing.
I chose to love and I stood by that choice to my last breathe.
