Me: Grandma, grandma, you remember that guy that I loved so much and so deep? He’s gone.
Grandma: What do you mean he’s gone
Me: He’s gone, gone.
Grandma: I heard you the first time. What do you mean by he’s gone.
Me: I don’t feel the same way as I did, before, and it doesn’t feel bad. It’s liberating. I don’t look forward to his texts, I don’t worry about whether or not I’m going to be hurt by him.
Grandma: Okay, so why are you telling me?
Me: Uuumh, I guess, I’m truly healing now. I’m not avoiding the pain I experienced because of him.
Grandma: Interesting… 🤔 Would you do it again?
Me: Do what again?
Grandma: Love again.
Me: Yaaaaap! Deep as always.
Grandma: The deeper you love, the deep your pain when it comes. Do you think that little heart of yours can still handle being torn apart again.
Me: Is there any other way to truly love?
